How to prepare your OMR image

Use the original, upright OMR image from NTA, then crop it to only the complete Q001–Q180 marked-answer grid shown inside the red box below.

Get the original

Save the OMR image from NTA

Open the original-copy OMR in the NTA portal and use Download or Save image. A direct screenshot is also acceptable if it is sharp, full-size and has no phone controls covering the sheet.

Crop to the red box

Upload only the marked-answer region

Crop and upload only the region bounded in red in this example. It must contain the complete Q001–Q180 answer grid, all four question blocks and every option 1–4 bubble.

Include: the Q.No. / Response headings, Q001 through Q180, and all four option columns.Exclude: roll number, booklet number and code, barcode, names, signatures, thumb impression and page margins.

Select paper code 50, 60, 70 or 80 manually on the calculator because the code bubbles are outside this crop.

Keep every edge of the red region

Do not upload the complete sheetUpload only the red-box answer grid. Also avoid angled photos, rotated images, glare, markup, heavy blur, stitched images or compressed WhatsApp forwards.

Calculate

Read the image and verify the code

Choose Choose PDF or OMR image on the calculator. Review any bubbles it flags. For a cropped grid, manually choose code 50, 60, 70 or 80 before calculating.

Multiple bubbles: choose “Multiple (−1)”. A multiple response is shown as * in the NTA response table; a blank is shown as - and scores 0.
